When using your health insurance, a GP referral letter may be necessary and you must talk with your insurance company before you come for your first consultation to obtain an authorization number and with some insurers, a claim form to be completed by the specialist.

All GP referrals should be made to Premier Foot & Ankle Centre or Mr Stephen Strain. When requesting a pre-authorisation number from your insurance company, you must quote Mr Stephen Strain as the consultants clinic, whom you have been referred to.
